The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted as a Basis the bill oft e Law on Amendments to the Law "On Higher Education" (re the Students' Self-Governing)

The Bill (Reg.№1280) envisages the broadening of the authority and functions of the students´ self-governing bodies. In particular, the representation quote of students in collegial bodies of the higher educational estates should be implemented, the issue on the formation and functioning of the students´ self-governing bodies should be specified, and the sphere, forms and directions of their activity should be concretized.
